Over the past few months I have had quite a few companies cold call me and offer QR codes and costs range from £99.00 to £500.00 and then a monthly fee on top to keep it live. So what a QR Code…..QR codes are a simple way of connecting the physical world to the digital- take a picture of a QR code on your phone and it will take you to a URL or text encoded within the QR code. After a bit of trolling over the web I came across quickqr , it’s quick, simple and FREE, yes FREE so...

If you can cast your mind back to May 2012 you will remember that I went on a 1200 mile journey to inflate 12 balloons but could not tell you where I went, who I was with or why I was asked to do this job, but all can now be revealed. I had a meeting with my web designer on Tuesday 16th October. He arrived at 10am and we finished at 7.30pm, not even time for lunch. By the time I got home my brain was fried but WOW, what a day. There is nothing worse than standing in the rain on a British summers day inflating wet balloons and placing them into a sodden net whilst try to keep a professional look, so here’s the answer… Place the net in the van, fill the balloons in the van and place into the very dry net, drive to venue, get net out of van (may take a few minutes as the net will get caught on every part of the van), stand in the middle of the school playground in the pouring rain with 500 screaming and...
Read MoreFunky Numbers
When it comes to a milestone birthday the Qualatex numbers are a must, but numbers on their own are a bit plain and need a bit of funking up. With a bit of imagination and a few extra balloons you can bring these number to life and make them a real focal point. Numbers on their own sell for about £10.00 each but giving them some TLC will fetch you in around £25.00 per number. Lovely Jubbley

Gala Bingo pulled out all the stops when it came to the Queens Jubilee and required 10 sites to be decorated by 10.30am on the morning of Sunday 3rd June. There is no way I can do this on my own so I contracted in 9 balloon decorating companies to assist. The decor was very simple and consisted on an air filled 4 cluster swirl arch at the entrance and 2 spiral columns on the stage. Each decorator was chosen through trust and post code location to the site. Well done to all with no disasters...
