The past few weeks has seen an explosion of people thinking its OK the lift photos of other balloon decorators works and post them on their own sites without a care in the world and passing it off as their own work. I myself have found my work on other sites and I take action immediately and it usually starts with a phone call. Most of the time I get told it was only for display purpose only but the fact is that they are MY photos of MY work lifted from My site and passed of as their own work.
As you are all aware I have never had a problem with anyone using my photos for reference and showing them to their clients, event coping the decor and adding a new twist to it. After all we are all guilty of that and if I said I have never done the same then my noise would be along as Pinocchios, but stealing it a parading it on another website and passing it off as your own work, well I’m sorry but I have to draw the line somewhere.
